The Mavericks are definitely not played their best ball throughout this series and I think there’s a lot of key reasons on why and it’s hard to just point a finger at one person or one issue that is making this team struggle. All that matters now is The Mavericks need a win to save their season and force a game 5 on Monday.

I think everybody that been listening to me through these playoffs and series know that I'd love to see the Mavericks find a way to win and make this series somewhat interesting. However, I truly lost hope after game 3. The Mavs role players are not helping the way they was in previous games and game 3, it was the Luka - Kyrie show, so the others didn't even really have a chance to get in a rhythm. Luka is complaining way too much, he's a mess defensively, and it just ruins the whole vibe of this team. The Boston Celtics seem to have an answer for everything the Mavs try to do, and they've now won 7 straight games against them. Kyrie himself hasn't beat the Celtics since I started watching basketball as a young bull. Also, there's a chance Porzingis plays, which doesn't help matters for Dallas at all because they also had no answer for him the little time he was actually on the court.
Again, I'll be rooting for the Mavs to extend this series so we get more basketball and a little diversity in the series but as professional handicapper and a bettor, I have to side with the Celtics, as the Mavs have blown chance after chance and the teams energy doesn't seem to be great at the moment and that's a big issue going into a game where you could possibly be swept.Â
