White had a solid game with 20/9/5, and JB also had 20, but Tatum only put up 13 (though he grabbed 14 boards), and Jrue had 10. As a team, their shooting was ice cold (36% overall, yikes, and 10-40 from deep). They started fire, holding the Knicks to just 13 in the first and going up by 20, but they let the Knicks stick around. Their offense totally died in the fourth (only 17 points!), and a killer turnover at the buzzer sealed the deal. Ouch.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks must be feeling good about their chances in this series after overcoming a 20-point deficit for the second game in a row. Josh Hart led the team in scoring with 23 points on nine of 15 shooting, Karl-Anthony Towns added 21 points with 17 rebounds while Jalen Brunson chipped in with 17 points and seven assists. As a team, the Knicks shot 43 percent from the field and nine of 31 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get going and scored just 13 points in the first quarter to find themselves trailing big, before they sprung to life and dominated the fourth quarter by 30-17 to steal the game on a clutch defensive play from Mikal Bridges who forced the turnover on the final possession of the game with the Knicks leading by just one point.

Alright, so basically, the Celtics are a bit banged up with Hauser likely out, while the Knicks are healthy and feeling good after snatching two wins in Boston. It's pretty wild that the Celtics choked away huge leads in both those games, which is definitely not a good sign. Even though the Knicks didn't do great against the top teams in the regular season, they're playing tough and capitalizing on every Celtics mistake. Now the series heads to New York with the Knicks riding high, but you know the Celtics are desperate for a win, which is why they're still favored for Game 3. They're probably kicking themselves for those losses, but a win here could totally swing things back in their favor. It's tempting to bet on the Knicks with their crazy home crowd, but the Celtics really need this one, and I've got a feeling they'll pull it off on the road.
