The BlueBombers Team Preview!

Bluebombers CFL team

In their recent game, the Blue Bombers won a close one against the Redblacks, with a final score of 30-27. Quarterback Zach Collaros threw for 298 yards and a touchdown, though he also had two interceptions. Running back Brady Oliveira led the rushing attack with 35 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Wide receiver Nic Demski had a big day, leading the team with 128 receiving yards on six catches. So far this season, the Blue Bombers' offense is solid, ranking 5th in the league in total yards and 4th in points per game, averaging 27.4 points. Their defense is a little more middle-of-the-pack, ranking 5th in points allowed per game (28.0) and 7th in yards allowed per game.

The Alouettes Team Preview!

Alouettes team cfl

The Alouettes lost their last game to the Lions 36-18, despite some strong individual performances. Quarterback James Morgan threw for 211 yards and a touchdown, while receiver Tyler Snead led all players with 111 receiving yards. Running back Travis Theis averaged 5.2 yards on his five carries but did not score a touchdown. The Alouettes' defeat can be attributed to their season-long struggles with scoring, as they rank 8th in the CFL with 23.7 points per game. Although their defense has been a bright spot, ranking 3rd in the league with 25.1 points allowed per game, it wasn't enough to overcome their offensive shortcomings in their last game.

The Alouettes Vs BlueBombers Game Prediction!

Bombers CFL

The Pick: BlueBombers -6.5

The Blue Bombers have been all over the place this season, but the Alouettes are really in a slump right now. With Alexander out, Montreal is in a tough spot. I just don't see Bethel-Thompson as the guy who can turn things around for them anytime soon. I'm putting my money on the Blue Bombers to cover the spread here, as they're in a great position to capitalize on the Al’s quarterback troubles.
