This Duke basketball program is one of the best and personally one of my favorites. I have to be honest, this Duke team has struggled their last couple of games, they have now lost two games in a row. Two games ago against The Hogs they were beat by a score of 80-75 and in their last game against Georgia Tech they lost 72-68. Jeremy Roach had a strong game putting up 20 points, eight rebounds, and four assists but the rest of the team needs to do there part also. Duke is averaging over 80 points per game and their defense is giving up around 67 points per game. The offense is ranked 68th and they need that strong offense to show up here. The higher the scoring this game, the better the chance that Duke will win and cover. I expect Kyle Filipowski to show up big in this game at home and put on a show.

I'm sure this Charlotte team has a ton of confidence heading into this game. This offense has been looking really good. We seen two games ago against Davidson this team put up 81 points. In their last game against Stetson, they were able to grab a 85-62 win. This Charlotte swuad is averaging 68 points per game and thier defense is only giving up 61 points per game. The defense is ranked 21st but this game might come down to how well the offense is able to play and if they can keep up with Duke. Lu’Cye Patterson is going to need to really step up here and lead this team in this game. He is averaging 14 points per game and will need to drop more then that if they want to stand a chance here.

Not many people will like or agree with this perdiction but I truly belive that Charlotte is going to keep this game close. This Charlotte defense is only giving up 61 points per game and I think they know that they are going to have to step up in a big way here if they want a shot at this game. We have not seen Duke in their best form lately, last game they only scored 68 points and their offense now has to see a solid 49ers defense. This Charlotte team is probably hyped for this game and know that they need to do everything perfect to stand a chance here. I think we see another big game from Lu’Cye Patterson today and the rest of this Charlotte team will follow his lead. This is a lot of points for a good Charlotte team who has been playing some good basketball recently. I don't think Duke losses this game but I do think it's going to be a lot closer then what the world is thinking.
