The Dallas Cowboys Team Preview
The Dallas Cowboys have achieved 12 victories in each of the past three seasons and are commencing their fifth year under the guidance of coach Mike McCarthy. The team faces significant challenges on the offensive front due to the absence of key players like Tony Pollard, Michael Gallup, Tyron Smith, and Tyler Biadasz. Furthermore, there are ongoing contract disputes involving standout receiver CeeDee Lamb. While Dak Prescott remains a reliable quarterback, the Cowboys' offensive line has lost its former dominance, and the comeback of Ezekiel Elliott fails to make a significant impact.
The Cowboys should be set to flex some defensive dominance, thanks to the duo of DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons, a pairing that ranks among the league's elite for sure. The full-season presence of Trevon Diggs will prove crucial, while DaRon Bland showcased his skills with an impressive sophomore campaign. Despite minor concerns, the Cowboys have my respect in the futures market this year for sure. It's smart to just acknowledge the influence of public money on their overall lines this season. Many more people are expected to bet this NFL season and it will influence the market and the lines.
The LA Rams Team Preview
Over the last 7 seasons, the LA Rams have achieved double-digit victories in 5 of them and are now heading into their eighth season under coach Sean McVay. Despite the significant loss of Aaron Donald due to retirement, the team still holds strong potential for a playoff run in my opinion. Matthew Stafford, remains above average, and if he gets a full season with Cooper Kupp, the team's offense looks very promising. Kyren Williams, who had a 1,000-yard season, and rookie Blake Corum provide depth in the running back position.
Even without Allen, the Rams have an impressive cornerback duo in Tre’Davious White and Darious Williams, along with Jared Verse who has the potential to fill the void left by Allen. The Rams appear to be a playoff contender, at least from the outside looking in. I think they can challenge for a division title, and could be a force in the NFC this season.

Game Prediction
The Pick : The LA Rams ML / +3.5
I have mentioned many times on Plug Talk and in the previous Articles for Preseason games, I'm just not comfortable laying more than 3 points in any preseason game. There's so much roster turnover and question marks in these games that you're just simply going to always have value when getting a decent number of points. These games are coin flips. I know we're likely not going to see Matthew Stafford, and it's been reported that Jimmy Garoppolo likely won't play in the preseason either. A quarterback duo of Stetson Bennett and Dresser Winn isn't appealing to anyone. Still, I'm grabbing the points with the Rams here. i see to much talent through this team to pass up points in a preseason game like this. they could win this game outright in my opinion.
