Stars/Oilers Game 3 Recap

Game 3 did not disappoint ... I was unable to watch a lot of this game due to it being on Memorial Day and I was away for the weekend with family. However, that does not mean I did not follow along and see game highlights after the game - a couple key notes... Evan Bouchard fails to hit his SOG prop despite shooting the puck 9 times. This is his second worst SOG miss of the playoffs, missing on 11 SA vs. VAN. This is an important note as not only did I bet on it last game, he's an important piece to the Edmonton Oilers offense. Another key piece to the Edmonton Oilers offense has been an absolute ghost... I am talking about the playoff point leader, Leon Draisaitl. Leon Draisaitl is still tied in playoff points with his counterpart, Connor McDavid despite only having 1 point through 3 games in this series. That 2nd line for Edmonton of Holloway, Draisaitl, and Kane need to figure it out because it was quite obvious they were struggling to produce in game 3. On another note, Dallas found their stride on their road and Jason Robertson finished off the hat-trick that ended up being the GWG for the Dallas Stars. Dallas got a big addition drawn back into their lineup in 1st line center Roope Hintz who had been out for the whole series with an upper-body injury. Roope Hintz and that top line with Seguin and Robertson combined for 7 points on 5 goals. Despite the Edmonton Oilers outshooting the Dallas Stars 30-23, the Dallas Stars still came out on top. Stuart Skinner played back to his old ways with a SV% of .810 on 22 SOG. Stuart NEEDS to play like an .850+ SV% goaltender if Edmonton wants to have a chance in this series.

Starting Goalies

As mentioned above... Stuart Skinner has been incredibly inconsistent in the playoffs and has had more bad games then any of the other 3 goal tenders. Stuart Skinner is the worst goalie left in the playoffs, no doubt about it. Suprisingly, the Edmonton Oilers are sticking with Skinner for game 4 despite pulling Skinner in the previous series vs. Vancouver when Stuart Skinner struggled.

Betting Insights For Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals: DAL/EDM

Well... Our projection for game 3, Over 5.5 SMASHED over to get us back in the win column. Ultimately I gave out another FREE player prop on the article but this time around, you will have to check out my Twitter for the props I take in this one. This late in the series, you have to think it is do or die for the Edmonton Oilers... The deeper you go into the playoffs, the worse your odds are to comeback from down 3-1. Heading back to Dallas would HURT, but it definitely is possible that Edmonton drops this one with the goaltending situation and the extended TOI that these Edmonton players have been playing. Dallas is piecing their offense together and Oettinger has had two games this series where he allowed 3 GAA. This is not bad do not get me wrong, but you will see where I am taking this. I can almost guarantee that Stuart Skinner allows 3+ GAA... Do y'all see where I am taking this? I hope so... KEEP READING!

DALLAS STARS / EDMONTON OILERS GAME 4 PREDICTION:

Stuart Skinner of the Edmonton Oilers

Jake Oettinger of the Dallas Stars

ChaseTheLock Prediction: Over 6 (+105) 1u

ChaseTheLock Record: 2-2 (-0.25u)

Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals will not disappoint on Wednesday May 28th between the Dallas Stars and the Edmonton Oilers. Both Oettinger and Skinner have been decent until last game where the two teams combined for 8 goals, 1 being an ENG. The momentum has completely swung in Dallas's directions winning both game 2 and game 3 after dropping game 1 in double overtime. What does this mean? The Oilers are going to be FLYING offensively, shooting any chance they can and will squeak a couple past Oettinger, I guarantee it. Both of these teams are starting to loosen up defensively and Stuart Skinner. Saying the name is enough , this guy is an absolute clown. He can barely save a shot from a JV high school player! The 2 main points for this bet...

This is what I am going to go with and play for game 4! Best of luck if you are tailing! Show some love and I hope you enjoyed!
