-The Flames Team Preview-

  • The Calgary Flames come into this one looking to bounce back after a 4-2 beat down from Seattle in their last game! Nazem Kadri has been a savage and a extremely important part of this team this season, he leads the Flames in scoring with 54 points including 22 goals and a team-high 32 assists! I also really am starting to appreciate Blake Coleman also on this team, he has 47 points with 25 goals and 22 assists. Yegor Sharangovich is in his own category and think should be looking for a new team to call home soon. Jacob Markstrom has gone 21-16-2 with a 2.61 GAA and a .912 save percentage while Dan Vladar is 8-7-2 with a 3.21 GAA and an .890 save percentage this season. Dustin Wolf has also gone 1-3-1 with a 3.91 GAA and an .878 save percentage as well this season, this goaltending is not great and they been shaky at best this year! We love fading the Flames and as my man Bet on Bananas says “F**K THE FLAMES” but do they have a shot tonight?

Calgary Flames Team Facts

  • The Flames have covered the puck line in each of their last six night games against Atlantic Division opponents.

  • The Flames have won the second period in each of their last six games as underdogs following a loss.

  • The 'Over 1.5 Goals Period 1' market has hit in each of the Flames' last six games against Atlantic Division opponents.

-The Lightning Team Preview-

  • The Tampa Bay Lightning come into this game looking to build on a 4-3 shootout win over The Habs in their last game and we know that Nikita Kucherov leads the Lightning in scoring with 105 points including a team-high 38 goals and 67 assists but he ain't the only weapon this team has! Brayden Point has 32 goals and 33 assists for his 65 points. Victor Hedman’s added 60 points with 50 assists while Steven Stamkos has 52 points with 28 assists and Brandon Hagel has 60 points split between 22 goals and 38 assists. Jonas Johansson has gone 11-7-5 with a 3.43 GAA and an .888 save percentage while Andrei Vasilevskiy is 21-15-1 with a 2.98 GAA and an .896 save percentage this season. This team is stacked and has a boatload of talent. Well-coached and very disciplined team! Hard to fade this team in any situation!

  • This was a easy call for me! I know that this line looks pretty much like a trap but they have to show me!! I’m on the Lightning here. Calgary was on a nice run before their loss to the Kraken, but now I have a feeling the Flames start going down and show some serious regression moving forward. The Lightning have been disappointing and I think they have truly underperformed for a lot of the season, but they do play their best hockey at home and have had the upper hand on the Flames for some time now the home team’s also dominated this matchup, winning each of the last 7 meetings and I think Tampa Bay makes it 8 here. Give me Tampa Bay for a easy cash tonight!!
