The Iowa State Cyclones are sitting at 6-2 this season after they just beat up on DePaul by a score of 99-80 in their last game. Iowa State led 41-37 at the half and they were able to score 58 points in the second half for the dominate win. The Cyclones looked really good on both sides of the court in that game, shooting 56.5% from the field and they forced 17 turnovers against Depaul. We did see Iowa State loss their previous two games to Texas A&M by a score of 73-69 and Virginia Tech by a score of 71-62. This is going to be a great game and will be fun to watch! Iowa comes into this game after winning two of their last three games, but they were just blown out by Purdue in their last game. I'm sure they want that taste out their mouth and they have a opportunity to write that wrong tonight! This Hawkeyes squad is scoring over 87 points per game and they are shooting 48% from the field. Iowa State defeated a bad DePaul team in their last game, not very impressive and they played three very close games prior to that. Dont get me wrong, this Cyclones team is a very solid offensive team, their defense has been great this year as well and you can't under estimate these boys. This defense that Iowa State has is only allowing 58 points per game, but latly they have allowed 80, 73, and 71 in their last three game. I think this is going to be a great game and I really wouldn’t be surprised if Iowa won this game outright tonight, so we will take the points with the Hawkeyes and enjoy this game
