Today we are privileged to watch The Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas State Wildcats face off in a college basketball showdown at Bramlage Coliseum. This is One of my favorite rivalrys in college hoops! Let’s look at the betting angles and look at these two programs and give a free prediction!

There has been a lot of talk and skepticism about Kansas and how good they are, but they sure made a huge statement to the the haters and the nation in their last game. At halftime, Kansas was up 43-28 and they never looked back, beating Houston 78-65! Johnny Furphy is serious and in my opinion he looks like he’s becoming one of the better Big 12 players this year! We just seen him put up 17 points and eight rebounds in that last game against Houston. Kansas is averaging 79 points per game and their defense is giving up 67 points per game. Kevin McCullar Jr has been the top player on this JayHawks squad, averaging 19.7 points while shooting 48% from the field. This does look like a classic let dawn spot for Kansas after that huge win against Houston and now they have to hit the road in a huge rivalry. Can we see this team make another big statement tonight!?

We know that this K-State team has not been looking to good as of late and I'm sure they have a lot of pressure weighing in on them heading into this game. Kansas State was favored in their last game against Oklahoma State, we seen the offense drop 72 points but the defense gave up 75 points and that's something they simply cannot do. Kansas State is averaging 72 points per game and their defense is giving up 68 points per game. The defense is ranked 99th while the offense is ranked 241st. Cam Carter is averaging 15.8 points while shooting 41.5% from the field and 32.4% from behind the arc! Can we see K-State get right at home tonight and pull a huge win for their home crowd!?

I think Kansas knows they are susceptible to a huge letdown tonight on the road but I'm sure these boys are going to make sure this isn’t a letdown spot and even on the road in a huge rivalry game, I expect they are going to put on a show tonight. We just seen this Kansas offense put up 78 points against the Houston defense and we all know that is not a easy task to complete. There is no reason for us to think they are not going to continue that scoring ability here. Another big problem I see for Kansas State in this game is they don't really have anyone to slowdown Hunter Dickinson and that is going to be a huge issue if they can't find a way to stop him. I know home court has been huge for teams this year, actually more effective then in along time in college hoops and getting 5 points in a game like this with the home team is very very intriguing but we know that this just looks to good and the books don't like to give gifts! So this line really tells a story all on its own! We will Back Kansas against tonight and see if they can overcome a huge letdown game tonight!
