After an impressive series win against Denver, we've seen a drop off in the quality of play for Minnesota. What has been really glowing, is Minnesota's two star players in Anthony Edwards and Karl Anthony Towns aren't delivering when it matters. For Minnesota to have any shot at coming back from this 3-0 deficit they will need more production from these players.
As a team the Timberwolves shot better from the field at 50.6% compared to their last two games. but shot just 9/30 from three point range and it didn't help that Anthony Towns was 0-8 from three point range.
In the last game, Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 26 points on 11/24 shooting, Jaden McDaniel's chipped in with 15 points on an efficient 6/8 shooting, and Mike Conley had a strong game off the bench with 16 points on 6/11 shooting making timely three pointers. They also got solid production from Naz Reid who had 15 points off the bench.
