Alouettes vs Tiger-Cats Trend
Montreal is 7-2-1 ATS against Hamilton over the last 10 head-to-head matchups.

The Alouettes Team Preview!

The Alouettes are on a roll! In their last game, they beat the Elks 38-28 thanks to Davis Alexander's awesome performance, throwing for 254 yards and 3 touchdowns with no interceptions. Sean Thomas-Erlington led the ground game with 63 rushing yards and a touchdown, and Tyson Philpot was a beast receiving with 96 yards.
These guys are an offensive powerhouse, leading the CFL with 35 points per game and ranking high in total and passing yards. Their defense is also top-notch, allowing the fewest points and yards per game in the league. They're definitely a force to be reckoned with this season!
Alouettes Injuries: Davis Alexander QB (Out), Austin Mack WR (Out), Nick Callender OT (Out), Joshua Archibald DE (Out), Mustafa Johnson DT (Out), Dylan Wynn DT (Out), Dionte Ruffin DB (Out).
The Tiger-Cats Team Preview!

Tough break for the Tiger-Cats in their last game, losing 28-23 to the Roughriders. Even with Bo Levi Mitchell throwing for 336 yards and a touchdown, and Kenny Lawler absolutely tearing it up with 162 receiving yards, they couldn't quite pull off the win. Their run game, led by Greg Bell, had some good bursts but didn't find the end zone.
Offensively, the Tiger-Cats are pretty solid, ranking first in the league for passing yards per game, but their running game is definitely a weaker point. On defense, they've been struggling a bit, giving up a lot of rushing yards and points per game, which has them near the bottom of the league. They'll need to tighten things up on that side of the ball if they want to turn their season around!
Tiger-Cats Injuries: Greg Bell RB (Out), Reggie Stubblefield DB (Out).

The Alouettes vs Tiger-Cats Game Prediction!

THE PICK: The Alouettes 1H -1
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are in a bit of a slump, starting the season 0-2 with their defense struggling against the run and a non-existent pass rush. They've even swapped out a middle linebacker, bringing in rookie Devin Veresuk who might have some growing pains. On the flip side, the Montreal Alouettes are on fire at 3-0, even with their starting QB Davis Alexander sidelined. Their backup, McLeod Bethel-Thompson, is a seasoned pro and looked good filling in.
While the Ticats have a talented quarterback in Bo Levi Mitchell and strong wide receivers, their poor pass protection could leave Mitchell vulnerable to Montreal's tough defense, especially from pass rushers Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund and Lwal Uguak. Montreal's defense is one of the best in the league and they've been consistently dominating in the first half of games, so I'm betting they'll jump out to an early lead again this Friday.
