We have seen much better games from the Preds then what we seen in game one and i expect to see them step up big here in game two! The Nashville Predators were 47-30-5 during the regular season, which was good for the first Wild Card spot in the West, but they lost game one in this series by a score of 4-2. Nashville got goals from Zucker and O’Reilly in the first 30:46 of the game, but couldn’t find the back of the net after that. The Predators led 2-1 in the third period, but things fell apart very quickly, as they allowed two goals in a span of 12 seconds. Nashville recorded 22 shots on goal and went 1-4 on the power play in the game. The Predators finished the regular season by winning four of their last seven games, picking up wins against Columbus, Chicago, New Jersey, and St. Louis. Nashville is scoring 3.24 goals per game and they are allowing 3.02 goals against per game, while going 21.6% on the power play and 76.9% on the penalty kill. Jason Zucker had one goal and three shots on net in game one. The projected starting goalie for Nashville is Juuse Saros, who allowed three goals on 20 shots in the loss. Nashville Predators ML +105 ( 2u )
I know what we seen from Vancouver was pretty impressive and they were able to get three third period goals to grab the win in game one of this series. to be honest, I think Nashville was the better team for most of that first game. The Canucks also took way too many penalties in that game, which is something they need to clean up. The Predators will look to bounce back in this game and luckily for them, they have been solid on the road all season. This should be another very competitive game, but I think Nashville is able to close it out this time. Take the Predators here.
