Arkansas comes into this game with a 2-0 record and the offense defintly has been impressive to start the year. In the first game against Alcorn State, Arkansas State scored 93 points and in the last game against Arkansas they were able to secure the 86-68 victory. In the last game Arkansas scored 46 points in the first half, and they never looked back and grabbed a dub. Khalif Battle had a strong game for Arkansas putting up 21 points, four rebounds, and one assist. In this game, Arkansas is going to push the pace in hopes to put the pressure on Old Dominion and I can imagine that's what we will see.

I was a little impressed with ODU In the first game where they dominated Virginia Wesleyan but then they turn around in there last game against Ball State and it wasn’t pretty at all. Old Dominion scored 68 points, but the defense gave up 73 points and that led to a bad loss. Old Dominion’s defense gave up 38 points in the first half and they just couldn't bounce back. Chaunce Jenkins was the top player for the Monarchs, putting up 20 points and six rebounds. There were three different players that finished with at least 11 points. In this game, this is a game where the defense needs to step up in a big way and really puts the pressure on the Arkansas offense but I'm not sure if there defense will be enough.

I do belive Arkansas is going to have little issues in this game. Old Dominion’s defense is a issue, and they are going to really struggle again in this game, that's the only reason I will not touch ODU to cover. We seen Arkansas score 93 points in there first game of the season and I expect they are going to get very close to that number here. So it looks very safe to take this team total tonight. Old Dominion isn’t going to have the offense to keep it close in this game, and it will be Arkansas that dominate start to finish. Back Arkansas against the spread if you want to, it's not a bad bet at all but I'm sticking with the team total this early in the season!
