Get ready for a showdown! Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals is hitting the Target Center on Saturday night, with the Oklahoma City Thunder looking to make some noise against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Every possession in this series feels like it matters, and tonight will be no different.

The Oklahoma City Thunder Team Preview!

The Oklahoma City Thunder are looking good after snagging a 2-0 series lead against the Timberwolves, thanks to a dominant 118-103 win in Game 2 on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was on fire with 38 points, eight assists, and three steals, and he got plenty of help from Jalen Williams, who put up 26 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. Chet Holmgren also chipped in with 22 points. While the rest of the team didn't hit double figures, the Thunder played strong defense from the jump, building an eight-point lead by halftime.
They really blew the game open in the third quarter, extending their lead to a massive 24 points at one point. They also did a great job taking care of the ball, only committing eight turnovers, and absolutely dominated in the paint, outscoring the Timberwolves 58-44.
Oklahoma City Thunder Player Facts
Jalen Williams ranks 7th amongst qualified players for steals per game (1.6) this season.
Luguentz Dort ranks 26th amongst qualified players for 3P% (41.2%) this season.
The Minnesota Timberwolves Team Preview!

On the flip side, the Minnesota Timberwolves are definitely feeling the heat after a tough Game 2 loss to the Thunder, putting them down 2-0 in the series. While Anthony Edwards bounced back with a strong 32 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, and Jaden McDaniels added 22, along with a solid 17 points off the bench from Nickeil Alexander-Walker, it wasn't enough. The T-Wolves struggled from the field, only hitting 41% of their shots and a dismal 11 of 39 from three-point range.
They hung in there for a while, but things really fell apart in the third quarter where they got outscored by 35-21, and the game pretty much slipped away. To make matters worse, Julius Randle had a rough night with just six points on poor shooting, and Mike Conley continued to struggle, only managing three points.
Minnesota Timberwolves Player Facts
Mike Conley ranks 5th amongst qualified players for assist:turnover ratio (4.3) this season.
Jaden McDaniels rank T8th in the league for total steals + blocks (184) this season.

The Oklahoma City Thunder vs Minnesota Timberwolves Team Prediction!

THE PICK: OKC -3 -115
Honestly, the Thunder are just on a roll right now. After that super dominant Game 2 where their MVP went off and their defense was stifling, they've got all the momentum. Plus, the stats really favor them – they're great on Saturday nights, they've been covering the spread, and the Timberwolves have just been struggling in these Conference Finals games. Even though the T-Wolves are fighting for their season, it's hard to bet against OKC when they're playing this well.
