Today we have The Saint Joseph’s Hawks and Villanova Wildcats heading into battle in a college basketball showdown at The Pavilion. Keep reading and check out my Prediction and preview! I will meet you at the window !

Villanova appears to be hitting their stride and they have had four impressive wins in a row. Two games ago against the Tar Heels they scored 83 points to grab that win and in the last game against Memphis they won 79-63. There were five different players that scored at least 11 points. TJ Bamba balled out, putting up 13 points, three rebounds, and two assists. Villanova is averaging over 78 points and their defense is giving up about 64 points per game. The defense is ranked 59th and in this game, the defense is going to need to step up in a big way here if they want to cover this number.

We just seen this Saint Joseph’s squad in their last game against Sacred Heart, I have to give these boys flowers, that defense was really solid in that game giving up only 55 points. In this game the defense is going to need to step up in a big big way again and really put the pressure on the Villanova offense if they want to have any chance at a cover. Saint Joseph’s is averaging 76 points while their defense is giving up about 64 points per game. Erik Reynolds II is averaging 16.2 points while shooting 41.3 percent from the field and 41.5 percent from behind the three point line. There are four different players that are averaging 10 points per game. Can we see this defense continue to look good or with Nova offense dominate like they do to so many other programs!?

I said it from the start of the season that this Villanova squad is going to be very dangerous and it finally seems that this team has figured it out, and I expect they are going to roll Saint Joseph's here. This Villanova offense has a boat load of confidence heading into this game and this team knows how to put points on the board, they should have issues scoring again here. Villanova is going to get close to 80 points here and they might even go over that number here. This Hawks offense is most likely going to struggle to keep up and it will be Villanova that is going to run this game start to finish! We will ride with Villanova against the spread here for a easy cash.
