Lil Wayne says the Chiefs can Three-Peat?
Patrick Mamomes is already putting his name among the best quarterbacks ever, but with a three-peat there would have to start to be some talk about the GOAT. For the offense everything starts with Mahomes, and he is the most talented player in the league. The one thing Mahomes didn’t need was more weapons, but that’s exactly what he got. The team got Marquise Brown during free agency, but he is hurt and it doesn’t look like he’s going to be able to go in this game. The team also picked Xavier Worthy in the draft and he’s a burner who should have a big role on this team.
So, it's not just about the offense, okay? The defense is seriously stacked too. Chris Jones is a beast on that side of the field and he's coming back for another season. Yeah, it sucks that Gay is out, that's a blow, but Drue Tranquill is stepping up big time. The Chiefs had to let go of L'Jarius Sneed due to the salary cap, which sucks for the team's performance. But hey, that's football for you. If we can get a couple of turnovers early in the game, it'll really boost our chances.

Is This a Good Early Test for the Ravens?
The Ravens know to make it to the Super Bowl it’s probably going to include a game against the Chiefs, so this is a great early season test for the team. The Ravens offense is led by Lamar Jackson who is one of the best duel threat quarterbacks in football. The offensive line for the Ravens did suffer some losses. The team did make a big offseason signing at running back in Derrick Henry who the team hopes will be the same player he was with the Tennessee Titans. Zay Flowers is the top wide receiver, and the Ravens need him to have a huge year.
So, the Ravens lost some players on defense, but they're pretty confident that the defense will shine this year. They said goodbye to Patrick Queen, but they've got Roquan Smith now, who they think will be a star linebacker for a long time. They also picked up Nate Wiggins for the secondary, and they're expecting him to make a big impact from the get-go. The secondary needs to step up and play a great game to give the Ravens a shot at winning. Next up for the Ravens is a game against the Raiders.
Why I think the Ravens Will Beat the Chiefs
The underdogs have won four of the Chiefs' last five games.
The Chiefs have lost each of their last two games as slight favorites (<-3.5 points).
The road team has covered the spread in 12 of the Chiefs' last 13 Week 1 games.
The Chiefs have failed to cover the spread in six of their last seven September games as favorites against AFC opponents.
The Ravens have scored the first touchdown in each of their last 14 Week 1 games.
The Ravens have won the first half in each of their last eight Week 1 games against AFC opponents.
The Ravens have won the first quarter in each of their last eight Week 1 games.

Game Prediction!
The Pick: Baltimore Ravens ML
I'm rolling with the Ravens on this one. Baltimore's defense is top-notch, especially their secondary. They're gonna shine in this game. Sure, the Chiefs will score some points, but so will Baltimore. Lamar Jackson is still a top QB in the league and he's gonna ball out. I really think the Ravens can pull off the win here, so we're sticking to our guns and going all in! Money line, here we come!
