The Minnesota Twins Team Preview

The Twins have truly made a huge turnaround from the start of the season. Twins are playing their best ball of the year right now and are looking like a real threat in the AL Central. Guardians might want to wake up or they could be taking the back seat soon in the Division!

The Twins dominated on Thursday, and they scored 12 runs yesterday on their way to the win. Getting the start for the Twins will be Pablo Lopez who sits with an 8-6 record and an ERA of 4.88. In his last start against the Seattle Mariners he went six innings giving up four hits and one run.

Ryan Jeffers had a strong game hitting a home run and driving in four RBIs. Jose Miranda also finished with five hits and three RBIs. The Twins are averaging 4.86 runs while their pitching is giving up 4.35 runs per game. The offense is ranked 7th in the league while the pitching is ranked 16th. Ryan Jeffers has hit 14 home runs and drive nin 46 RBis so far this season. Can the Twins continue to stay so well balanced?

The Houston Astros Team Preview

We have seen some really good effort from this Astros squad in the last few weeks and they actually look pretty good on the field! Their rotation is dialed in and the bats are heating up!

We know the Astros had a slow start to the season, but it truly seems the Astros have finally figured it out, and here they are coming off another win yesterday. The Astros gave up three runs in the bottom of the first inning, but didn’t give up a run the last nine innings and they ended up winning 5-3.

Jon Singleton finished with a hit and two RBIs. The Astros are averaging 4.73 runs while their pitching is giving up 4.23 runs per game. The offense is ranked 10th in the league while the pitching is ranked 12th. Yordan Alvarez has hit 19 home runs and driven in 49 RBis. Getting the start for the Astros will be Shawn Dubin who sits with a 1-1 record and an ERA of 4.91. Can they keep up tonight with this hot Twins team?

The Twins & Astros

Game Prediction

THE PICK: TWINS ML

I’m seeing a lot of growth in Lopez and his game as the season moves on. Looks like Lopez is getting it figured out after a slow start to the season, and I think he’s going to continue riding that momentum in this game! Lopez's last start he gave up four hits and one run and looked good in his previous 3 as well. The Astros also seem like they might be figuring it out, but they are going to struggle in this game I think. The Twins bats have been very impressive heading into this game and that is going to be huge in this game and series for the Twins here. The Twins are going to grab a win here and get us easy cash at a great price!
