Indiana Pacers Team Preview
I have truly been impressed from the Pacers ability to keep these playoffs alive! They have not only shocked me but they have shocked the world with being able to make this deep into the post season. Only question is how much longer can they hold this type of play?
The Indiana Pacers need to get a split on the first two road games if they want any realistic shot at moving onto the NBA Finals and they missed a real chance after falling just short to the Celtics in a 133-128 overtime loss in Game 1 on Tuesday. they cant let a close game like that slip away again.
Tyrese Haliburton was the spark for the team early on as he finished with 25 points and 10 assists, Pascal Siakam added 24 points with 12 rebounds and seven assists, Myles Turner tallied 23 points with 10 rebounds and four assists while Andrew Nembhard chipped in with 12 points and seven assists.
As a team, the Pacers shot a healthy 53 percent from the field and 13 of 35 from the 3-point line as they showed plenty of fight to claw their way back from an early 13-point deficit to lead by three points with possession and just 8.1 seconds left in regulation, before a costly inbounding turnover from Nembhard left the door open for the Celtics to snatch the game in overtime. Can they overcome the odds and continue to compete and make this series interesting?
Indiana Pacers Player Facts
Myles Turner is one of only five qualified players in the league averaging at least 1.5 threes and 1.5 blocks this season.
Pascal Siakam ranks 7th in the league for points in the paint (1048) this season.

Boston Celtics Team Preview
Its nothing short of amazing how this Boston team operates on the court and its not easy to fade this team, but i think the Boston Celtics have been panicking a bit after failing to blow away the Pacers early despite a very strong start in game one, Don't get me wrong, they were still good enough to get the job done and hold onto home court advantage.
Jayson Tatum led the team with 36 points, 12 rebounds and four assists, Jrue Holiday added 28 points with seven rebounds and eight assists while Jaylen Brown finished with 26 points, seven rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Celtics shot 47 percent from the field and 15 of 45 from the 3-point line as they blew an early lead and looked to be in deep trouble with just 8.1 seconds on the clock, before the Celtics were able to force a key turnover and force overtime thanks to a clutch 3-point shot from Brown at the end of regulation.
It wont surprise me if the Celtics do win this game or even sweep the Pacers in this series but from how the Pacers been playing and the pure drive these guys have it wont be easy for Boston to just win games as easy as they use to. Can Boston rise to the challenge and take the Pacers out in four?
Boston Celtics Player Facts
Jrue Holiday ranks 2nd in the Eastern Conference amongst qualified players for 3P% (42.9%) this season.
Derrick White is one of only four qualified players in the league averaging at least 1.0 threes, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks this season.
Indiana Pacers vs Boston Celtics
Game Prediction
The Plugs Pick: Indiana Pacers + 10.5 / Jrue Holiday over 10+ Points ( SGP on DK ) +104 ( 1unit )
I'm sure the Pacers will be upset with themselves after losing Game 1 in overtime despite having the lead and the final possession with just seconds left in regulation! I know the Celtics are just too good a team to be giving second chances to a team like the Pacers in the Playoffs but I don't think they have a choice in the matter. The Pacers shot better from the field and the 3-point line compared to the Celtics on Tuesday, but they got outscored by 24-9 at the free throw line and their 22 turnovers proved costly in the end.
The Pacers can still steal home court advantage with a sneaky win here, but I just feel they missed their chance to ambush the Celtics. The line is hefty once again, so while I have the Celtics going up 2-0 in the series, I think the Pacers hang around and keep this to single digits in the end for this entire series in my opinion!
looking at Holiday for tonight he has some good numbers against this Pacers team, he has been active for Boston all posts season so far. Holiday has hit 15+ points in seven of his last eight home games against he Pacers and tonight his line sits at 13.5, love for him to easily put up 10+ for us and for the Pacers to cover this number tonight, Good luck if you tail and please subscribe to our website at the bottom of the Homepage!
