Indiana Pacers vs Milwaukee Bucks Round Game 5 Preview

Matchup Preview🏀

Milwaukee , WI Tuesday, 30th @ 9:30pm Est

  • April 30th, the Pacers vs Bucks for game 5 as one team is looking too advance into round 2 for the first time since 2014 and the other is just trying too avoid elimination while the availability of two star players is in doubt. Pacers won the game 4 in Indiana 126-113, behind a playoff career high in Myles Turners' 29 points. Bobby Portis was ejected after only playing 7mins last game due too a scuffle in the first quarter, which was a major loss early due too already missing Dame time because of the Achilles injury which occurred in Game 3. As expected, Dame and Giannis are listed doubtful at the time of this writing Tuesday night. Neitherless, lets take a dive in between the lines and preview Game five of this competitive series.

-Pacers Team Preview

Projected Lineup: Tyrese Haliburton, Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith, Pascal Siakam, Myles Turner

  • The Pacers are on the road tonight but that doesn't make me believe the Bucs have the clear advantage just because they are home. Indiana have won 7 of the 9 last matchups between these two. Siakam is leading the Pacers in ppg this series with 25.8 and also leading the team in rebounds with 10.5 per game. Myles is coming off two great performances too defend home court and is now at an average of 24.3 through these 4 games. Myles is coming off a game where he shot 9 threes and then the game before that he attempted 10, he completed 11 of 19 threes and I do not see him slowing down tonight. If Myles can continue knocking down The 3 ball, that gives spacing too players like spicy P and Tyrese Haliburton too be able too get to the lane and draw fouls. Expecting him too attempt another 8-9 threes and knock down hopefully 4-5 of those shots.

Team and Player Facts
  1. Pascal Siakam scored 37 and 36 in Milwaukee Game 1 and 2. His points line is 23.5.

  2. Myles Turner has made 7,4,3,3 threes in the 4 games this series. His threes line is 2.5 and plus money.

-Bucs Team Preview

Projected Lineup: Patrick Beverley, Malik Beasley, Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis, Brook Lopez

  • Milwaukee is facing elimination in the first round again after being escorted out of the playoffs in the first round by Miami last year. This was not on anyone's bingo card when they traded for Damian Lillard last summer. Injuries between Giannis and Khris gave this club a rough regular season and nothing is changing in these playoffs. Expect another big opportunity for Malik Beasley tonight as he will be needed for offense and should have another look at 5-8 three point attempts. He scored 20 points behind Lopez(27) and Middleton(25) in Game 4 and will be needed tonight even with the return of Portis. I have a thought from listening too Doc Rivers press conference that the bucs gameplan will be too setup in halfcourt and use their bigs in the post too control the Pace and not let Indiana dictate the pace of play.

Team and Player Facts

  1. Khris middleton has a double-double 3/4 games this series.

  2. Malik Beasley has covered 3+ threes in his last 3 games without dame and Giannis. His line is 2.5 (-112)
