Tonight we have the highly entertaining entertaining MLB All-Star game on a beautiful Tuesday night at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. In this article take a look at the MLB All-Star Game and Find a winning Prediction!
The National League
Team Preview
We all know that the National League has always been known as the “dominate team” over the last few years in the All Star games and will look to make it two wins straight this season, they won last year’s game by a score of 3-2 at T-Mobile Park. Before we can make any recommendations we have to know who the NL starting lineup is going to be, so here is the lineup:
Ketel Marte - 2B
Shohei Ohtani - DH
Trea Turner - SS
Bryce Harper - 1B
William Contreras - C
Christian Yelich - RF
Alec Bohm - 3B
Teoscar Hernandez - CF
Jurickson Profar LF
Im absolutely thrilled to see the starting pitcher for the National League is going to be Paul Skenes, who is the rookie I will always remember from Pittsburgh. Here are some of the other pitchers that are on the NL roster: Max Fried, Shota Imanaga, Reynaldo Lopez, Kyle Finnegan, and Jeff Hoffman. Obviously all valid All-Stars and deserve to be here but can the NL Step up once again this year?
The American League
Team Preview
It has always been The American League everything for the All-Stars for as long as I can remember. The AL has simply dominated the All-Star game recently, as they have won nine of the last ten games, but they will try to avoid their second straight loss tonight in back to back years. Lets look into this AL starting lineup before we make any final decision!
Steven Kwan - LF
Gunnar Henderson - SS
Juan Soto - RF
Aaron Judge - CF
Yordan Alvarez - DH
Jose Ramirez - 3B
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. - 1B
Adley Rutschman - C
Marcus Semien - 2B
What a great honor for Corbin Burnes who is The starting pitcher for the AL, who has had a very good first half of the season for the Orioles. Here are a few other pitchers that will be available for the American League: Garrett Crochet, Tarik Skubal, Cole Ragans, Mason Miller, and Emmanuel Clase.
Recent All-Star Game History
Okay Lets have a history lesson about previous years in the MLB All-Star games! The National League won the game in 2023 score of 3-2, but the American League won the previous nine games by scores of 3-2, 5-2, 4-3, 8-6, 2-1, 4-2, 6-3, 5-3, and 3-0. Now look before all that, the NL did win three games in a row from 2010-2012 by scores of 8-0, 5-1, and 3-1.
As you can see, we have seen plenty of lower-scoring games, with 9 of the 13 games since 2010 going under 7.5 runs. Hopefully he provides some context into how these All-Star games historically have gone to possibly help us predict how this All-Star game will go!

THE ALL-STAR GAME PICK— AL ML
So its not hard to understand that this game has the majority of the best players in the MLB on the field for this game to compete in the All-Star game, from a player point of view its important we remember that the game really doesn’t mean anything to them, but it will still provide us with plenty of entertainment and action for us a bettors!
The American League has dominated the All-Star game since 2013, but they are coming off of a loss last season. If you are looking at the total, the under 7.5 runs has been the play in nine of the last 13 games. Just like every recent All-Star game, it is tough to really get a read on the game, as it is just an exhibition game, but I am going to go with the American League here.
The NL has a few very good pitchers that are not available in this game and while the AL is missing some offensive firepower, I like their options a little bit more. I truly believe that this year the MLB All-Star Game is for the AL to win.
