They've been great on offense, averaging over 40 points a game (13th nationally!) thanks to quarterback CJ Carr, who has thrown for 1,280 yards and 11 touchdowns while completing 67.7% of his passes.
Running back Jeremiyah Love is leading the ground attack with 444 yards and six scores, helping the team rack up 461 yards of offense per contest. While the offense is dominant, their defense gives up 23.6 points a game, an area where they'll need to tighten up.
On the bright side for the D, safety Adon Shuler is a tackling machine, and defensive back Leonard Moore already has three interceptions this season.

Look, the bookmakers have set the total at 60 points, which is a big number, but honestly, I think we're in for a shootout. When these two teams last met in 2023, the score ended up being 45-24, easily clearing the total. Both Notre Dame and NC State have explosive offenses—they combine to average over 74 points per game! While both teams have technically hit the under more often this season, the Fighting Irish are hot at home and the Wolfpack's defense has been shaky. With Notre Dame's top-15 offense going up against an NC State team that can also score in bunches, I'm taking the Over 60 points here. Expect a lot of touchdowns today!
